Thinking of a Solar PV installation and getting the highest rate Feed-in Tariff?
Energy Performance Certificates & the Feed-in TariffFrom April 2013 all properties being fitted with solar PV panels are required to have an EPC rating of at least a D grade if they are to qualify for the higher rate Feed-in Tariff (FIT).
For more information on Feed-in Tariffs and the current rates:- Please visit the Energy Saving Trust website. Our role in helping you achieve that D rating.
We can carry out your Solar EPC survey either before or after the Solar PV installation. The rating will be better with the panels in place, so you may want to wait until after the Solar PV install and have the solar panels included in the EPC.
However before you place an order for a solar PV installation, you want to be sure that the property will be capable of achieving that all important D rating. In this case we can visit the property and carry out an EPC survey prior to the solar PV installation. We can then check the EPC ratings to see if that important D Grade is achievable, both before and after the intended Solar PV installation. Call us for more information on getting that important D rating for your EPC. |
Find out how much you could benefit from Solar PV.The Energy Saving Trust website has a
Solar Energy Calculator which estimates the income and savings you could receive from the domestic Feed-In Tariff scheme which is available in England, Scotland and Wales, for eligible PV installations of up to 4kWp. Click on the above link to access the Solar Energy Calculator
